Causes of World War 2

Causes of the Second World War are still subject of debate and research, but a common view, especially in the postwar period, including the victorious allies was that they are linked to German and Japanese expansionism. Following defeat in World War I, Germany lost power, international status and huge amounts of money, the expansion plans would have to Nazi Germany to bring back the greatness of yesteryear.
In Germany there is a strong desire to escape the limitations imposed by the Treaty of Versailles country. Finally, Hitler and his National Socialist Party managed to win using state power and popular anti-versaillese feelings. Hitler led Germany over asuccession process that was marked by: rearmament, Rheineland re-occupation, the union with Austria (Anschluss), incorporation of Czechoslovakia and, finally, invasion of Poland.
In Asia, Japan's efforts to become a world power and the conquest of power by the military (in the fourth decade, the government is undermined by the military had de facto power, the country with a totalitarian control) led to conflicts with China and, later, with the U.S… Japan also seeks to seize the natural resources such as oil, coal or iron ore resources which lacked the Japanese islands.
